Co-crosslinking Agent (TAC)

TAC is a light yellow to colorless liquid or crystal at room temperature with a melting point of 25-27℃, a density of 1.1133 g/ml (at 30℃), a viscosity of 1.26×10-2 Pa•s (30℃) and a refractive index of 1.5049 (25℃). TAC is hardly soluble in water and soluble in ethanol, acetone, heptane, petroleum ether, solvent oil, soybean extract oil, halogenated hydrocarbon, and the like. TAC is stable at room temperature and can be stored stably for a long time.

Application fields

  • TAC (triallyl cyanurate) is a three-functional crosslinking agent, which can significantly improve the strength, rigidity and heat resistance of plastic products, allowing the products to be used at around 250℃ for long time.

  • Therefore, TAC is a novel crosslinking agent for preparing high-performance unsaturated polyesters and acrylic resins, and is especially suitable for preparing high-temperature resistant and high-strength FRP products;

  • TAC can also be used as a curing accelerator for highly saturated rubber in the rubber and cable industries to improve the curing effect, and used as a photosensitizer for radiation cross-linking of polyolefin to reduce the amount of irradiation.
