ACS resin is the modified & improved product based on the general grade of ABS resin, which ACS has the properties of weather resistance, flame retardant and static resistance. As rubber grade of saturated CPE with excellent properties substitutes for polybutadiene in the ABS, ACS mechanical property is the same as ABS, but ACS with good properties of weather resistance, ultraviolet ray resistance, ozone resistance, flame retardant and static resistance; it is widely used in the applications of electronic products, electric appliances, telecommunication facilities, instruments & meters, construction materials, decorating materials, auto parts and office equipment.

I.ACS CHARACTERISTICS
· It has the same mechanical strength as ABS, so its processing condition & facilities are the same as ABS processing.
·Weather resistance: Compared with the ABS and ASA products on the market, it has better properties of weather resistance, ultraviolet ray resistance. So ACS can be used for outdoors products such as pipe, plates, extruding surface layer for multi-layer profiles, packing boxes,etc. (See the table).
·Flame retardant property: When use flame retardant grade of ACS, there is no need to use flame retardant bromide series agent (just add a little inorganic flame retardant agent) to meet the standard flame retardant level of UL-V0, so its production cost will be greatly reduced, and also avoid the negative effect on its environment due to bromide agent usage.
·Static resistance: The electric charge on ACS surface is very easily leaked, it will not absorb dust in the air, and there is no need to add static resistant agent in the formulation on making the accurate equipment and outer coverings & parts of electric appliances, and it will not affect the safety and life of the equipments.
·ACS has strong dyeing ability, so we can produce very colorful & wonderful products.

Due to the above properties of ACS, it can be used in the applications with weather-resistance, flame retardant, which normal grade of ABS and ASA can not give good performance for such properties. ACS has very good economic advantage.
